Mum and Monty
Backblip
Another busy day. We picked up David and then went to get some breakfast. Most shops are shut until at least 10 o clock on a Sunday in England. Luckily the small Tesco near Mike’s mums was open so we bought a croissant and a roll for David. Our Nephew Phillip had sent us a text last night to say James , Laura , Arthur and himself would be at Mike’s Mums at 10 this morning so we arrived a little bit earlier and waited for them to arrive. It was a lovely day so we sat in the garden. Mike did a few jobs for his Mum and Dad and then Jill, Pete and Philip arrived. He’s a song writer and is often away in America so we were lucky to see him. He’s been working with Lewis Capaldi and Sam Ryder and is off to play a headliner set at Barn at the farm next week. https://www.barnonthefarm.co.uk/line-up
James etc arrived next , delayed by the traffic. Arthur has grown quite abit since we saw him last and is sooo close to walking. It was nice to see Mikes Dad smiling :)
We were then on our way to Kent. Lots of traffic which we did not expect for a Sunday and it took us about 45 minutes to get over the bridge, arrr.
Arrived at my Mums at just gone 1.30pm. Mum made us dinner, pizza, new potatoes and salad, very nice, thank you Mum :)
We went to see my cousin Kevin, Sharon and Millie. We sat in the garden admiring Sharon’s handy work. Met the tortoise and Monty. He’s still a puppy and full of energy , hard to get a photo of him but managed to get this one of him with my Mum.
A lovely sunset to end the day :)
