Celebrating Barbara

All the cousins gathered at the lake to celebrate the 80th birthday of our dear Barbara.  Here we are gathering around her, in our "facinators", to sing the old Beach Boy's song, Barbara Ann.  Barbara always brought her guitar and sang at other parties but today it was all about her. (I put an extra photo of Barbara and I leading a song a long, long, loooong time ago.)  Although not technically a cousin, she has been part of our family for 75 years so very much an honorary and much loved cousin.  Rock on, Barbara, and keep those strings humming!  Gift#183: having this wonderful woman in my life all these years.
