FIRST BUTTERFLY

Yeah the first butterfly I've been able to photograph this year.  I popped into the garden to see what I could photograph and there was this lovely Tortoiseshell on the Hydrangea - so blip sorted for today.

Hubby went to pop into town this morning to go the Building Society and Post Office, he only got as far as The Pink Palace on Allithwaite Road and the road was closed due to an accident.  This is very unusual so I hope everyone is OK??  This means that cars were trying to come down Carter Road and the narrow part of that lane so it was difficult even getting that car, but he did.  Now I understand that section of the road is also closed so the only way is to do a very long circular detour and find your way around the back roads near Cartmel.  Good job we don't need anything urgent, so he's left it for today.

There was the most perfect rainbow to be see from balcony last night (see extras).

Nothing else to say really - am plodding on. Hoping to go into Ulverston tomorrow.
