A loooonnnngggg beach - about 4 miles of sand cutting across Dingle Bay reminiscent of St Andrews. Footballers and parked cars at one end. Empty at the other apart from a rental van which was stuck in soft sand and a tosser doing wheelies in his motor - we wished him sand and salt water in his hard-to-reach parts.

Headed east on our whistlestop tour. Dublin was relaxed and sunny. We did eventually find a pub which didn't look like it belonged on a spanish beach resort and sat down to enjoy a quiet pub only for the door to open and 40 people on a literary pub tour pour in. Luckily they were rather sedate (and most of them not drinking) so when their time was up and the bell rang, off they went.
