Tower of London

I've hardly seen Bec since Henry came to hospital and today was no exception. This morning we swapped in our usual way, that is by booking an uber driver to do a round trip between Alastair's house and the hospital. I took the other four to the tower of London, including Jane who did well on her scooter. The highlight was running into friends of ours, the Bleaches who we know from church in Mosman. The photo was taken outside the Chapal Royal of St Peter ad Vincula. The most notable thing about this chapal, from my perspective, seems to be the density of noble bones under its floor. Those buried there represent a roll call of the highest profile political victims of English history, particularly from the Tudor period. I'm back in the hospital now. I just told Hen a joke that Elizabeth gave me specially to tell him and he hardly managed any reaction. Poor boy. He must be feeling terrible.
