An Itoh peony in a clients garden today. I planted it a couple of years ago and finally got to see it bloom this year. There are only a few plants left in this garden that were there when I started working on it 7 or 8 years ago. A few years ago we had to move some plants around as they were having a new deck put on the house and it was going to be bigger than the old one. When that was finished, I added new plants around the deck. Then another back garden needed some work, so a lot of plants were removed and new ones added. This year we are working on the side garden. It is one of the gardens that is included when I say 'I have many gardens, I just don't live at all of them.'
Parts of the sky had a funny color this afternoon. I could see blue! And we didn't get wet today!
