Carting bales....

Jobs this morning included shifting the combine out the shed so I could get to the rake ,tedder and bale wrapper that had been stored behind it for the winter. Hopefully will need them all as soon as the weather picks up.
A trip to the dentist this afternoon, then the contractor phoned to say he was in baling and wrapping the field down the road I cut on Monday. He had 2 McHale fusion balers going,so it took no time at all. The baler makes the round bale and then wraps it with plastic before ejecting it out the back and leaving the bale sitting baked bean tin style. I went down for this load this evening. Was back home by 9 pm,much easier at this time of night when there is no traffic, horses or cyclists getting in my way !
