Two meetings today, which doesn't sound too arduous, except the first one was at Heathrow and the second one in Knutsford.

A quick power nap at a service station ensured that I was fresh for the afternoon meeting and after that it was time to head home. I've been away a lot recently, so it was wonderful to get back, see the kids for a while and then head back to the cottage.

Here's the field out the back, bathed in the sunshine. See how the trees - those two in the middle that are my favourites - are growing back their leaves?

I nearly moved recently, to take a place in KL so I'd be nearer the kids, but this evening I was glad that I didn't. It's nice to come back to a place that feels like home.
