Annual Summer Walk to Lingness
A beautiful sunny day, all day and evening. Lovely and warm, mostly calm with a breeze in the afternoon.
Up early and washing out first thing. Popped by Madeline's for a cuppa, and Fraser (Paul) was in too. Walkies with Sammy, oh and my foot has been much better today. Mam, Laura, Shaun, Elise and Olly came over for lunch, which was out in the garden. Met friend Julie for walkies this afternoon, my foot felt the strain then. Working in the shop this evening, and a super busy night. Off to bed early.
Some places I do like try and get to for an annual walk, this is one of them. Into our walk we came across a herd of bullocks, no fences or walls, but they behaved themselves, even with the dogs. There was other folk enjoying time at the beach there too. A very traditional croft house, set in the most beautiful remote spot. Taken at Lingness, South Nesting, with Whalsay in the distance.
