Wormsloe Estate
Today we visited Wormsloe which is an estate where the house was small and modest and now no longer exists. The whole place is now a wonderful natural area with wetlands bordering it and this stunning mile and a half of living oak trees.
In the afternoon we went to Skidaway National Park , again an area of wetland and heavy bush. We saw masses of crabs, some bird and animal life and thoroughly enjoyed wandering through them both. The temperature was between 33 and 37 degrees most of the day so VERY hot and sweaty :) Evening brought a cooler walk on the river after dinner again then a drink on the hotel rooftop watching massive container ships going up stream and the lightening.
