Decadence

Did an early shift at the allotment, via Tesco for bird food so that I didn't get black looks from the sparrows. It had rained so thoroughly last night that I didn't even need to water the courgettes!

Later in the afternoon I strolled round to Moonwake to meet Arclight for a pint or three. Felt rather decadent going out for beer on a Sunday afternoon until I got to the Shore which was crowded with folk who had not only been drinking beer for some time but also sitting in the strong sunshine - there were many reddening faces. The fact that Moonwake's outdoor space was in partial shade was very welcome.

Hadn't seen J for ages - not since before she got awarded her hat and sword in Finland! So we blethered mightily. Very enjoyable.
