Gone Fishing

I had no use for my new chic sun hat today and my DryRobe was on double duty as a raincoat and a changing  coat. The rain was intermittent and never became a problem as I spent most of the day either on a bus or in the library.

The jellies are in attendance at the slip and put such fear into the ladies that those intrepid Selkies were more constrained than usual in their distance swimming. I have it on authority that indeed there are many pockets full of antihistamine cream.

With the weather somewhat inclement and knowing there were no cruise ships docked in Kirkwall today I decided to bus there and have a coffee in Lolz café. However it was shut because the owner was newly back from Wimbledon and so my second choice had to be Judith Glue , and very nice it was too.

With the damp weather seemingly unshiftable, I had a quick walk which ended up at the Library. I have now finished with Eddie Izzard and after a quick survey of the life of Kevin Bridges, I’m eager to continue with the rest of the shelf. Looking at the weather forecast this may be sooner rather than later.
