Packing Up Again

It seems as if I just un-packed and now here I am packing again! My sister and I share our summer cottage in two-week blocks and my time starts again tomorrow! It seems like only yesterday that I returned home from my last block! The older I get, the faster the time flies by! 

In these two weeks at home, my main focus has been on the garden..trying to get everything planted and organized..There is still lots to be done, especially weeding, and more mulching, but Ian is taking on those tasks for me while I am away.. With the work he has already done, I have finally been able to clear my little wicker sitting area  - it has been his work station littered with bags of potting soil, pots, plants, and tools! At last, just as I am about to leave again, it is ready for use...oh well, it will be there waiting for me when I get back...

And summer seems to be here..well I guess it has been all along, but I haven't!  (been here that is)...Today's Tuesday morning coffee get together with my two neighbours was outdoors for the first time this year! My neighbour Diane hosted it in her little gazebo and it really did feel like summer...(extra) 

And to end the day...I took Maggie to the vet for her arthritis shot...She was not amused...but got lots of petting and treats afterward..Now we just wait and see if it helped. Fingers crossed...

PS: yes the wicker is in need of attention - perhaps Ian likes to paint?
