Today we kicked off the celebrations for our lovely friends P and A (also neighbours) 50th wedding anniversary.

Boomerang, her husband N, John and myself have planned this lunch over a number of weeks, great fun. Today was the day for all of us, 10 by mid afternoon, to eat drink and be merry. We decided on an indoor do, originally when the weather was dry for weeks on end we thought a trip to Calliach, by the sea. Too many showers in recent days changed the plan although today turned out to be fine.

The box of gold coloured parcels was a combination of goodies containing the word gold or looking golden, at least 50, including gold covered chocolates.

Their anniversary date is next Wednesday when we will meet again on P and A home ground.
