Edinburgh

Edinburgh today, and it lived up to expectations in many ways. The weather nearly blew us away while exploring Edinburgh castle, we had a brief shower in the middle, and sun by the evening. We started the day in coats and beanies and by the end of the day a few of the kids managed to run around in t-shirts.
We enjoyed exploring the Royal Mile, and found a great church service in the evening at Saint Columba’s. Edinburgh Castle provided a great mix of history from the prisons to the great hall and Scottish Crown Jewels. Adelaide finally sourced some Harry Potter merchandise which she has been eyeing off all trip. Jane also managed to find a couple of unicorn toys that were very cleverly marketed as part of Scottish history.
