What a Difference a Day Makes

What a scary night. It blew, it thundered and as promised at 7.00am the power came on. We knew this because The Bossess had not turned off the bedroom light before the generator was shut down so we had a lovely surprise.
The surprise got grrreater as we left and discovered things were worse as we headed up the island and at Burkes Pass there was a nice traffic officer who said that we could proceed carefully in 4WD but all others could go back...thank you.
There was no stopping for photo opps here so I spotted this shot, barked at The Boss who barked (opps asked very nicely) at The Bossess who grabbed The Boss's iPhone and held it out the window into the face of the action...so to bark while The Boss did the very important bit and carefully rolled us down the Pass with the Low Transfer gear engaged and his foot well away from the brake pedal. And so we proceeded. A few miles down the road all was well and we had a number of photo stops but this is the one that has made the cut fir today. (Deliberate spelling there Bossess so relax)

Thank you for all for the wonderful comments on yesterday's Memorial shot. He is a true blue New Zealand hero.

Hop out of Suzz and look...opps sorry can't stop for you so press L instead
