Wimbledon Final

Watched the last hour of the Wimbledon final with mum and dad after sneaking in a 1000m swim at their local pool! My pool closed the indoor pool this morning due to a leak so I missed my lane swim.

We opened the bubbly and cheered Carlos when he won. I was touched by Novak Djokovic shedding a few tears on spotting his son smiling at him during the post-match interview.

It just goes to show when the game is over sometimes you realise you haven’t lost after all. And that family means more than anything. There’s a moral somewhere there.
