Perfect weather

For getting the outside jobs done. Having checked the forecast for the week we decided today would be the day for gardening.
Early walk along the river, run and after shower and coffee garden. Hubby did the lawn and a lots of trimming in the back and I tidied the small area at the front and cleared the weeds in the path in front of the cottage. We have had a mouse problem for a while but they seem to have gone, I think perhaps I know why now. The cat is from across the road and spent time looking around before having a clean and sleep on top of the wood shed.
Royal Mail very apologetic for poor service and going to investigate. Took Hetty for walk and a look for a blip, I had seen a few lovely flowers this morning so headed off in that direction. Just back and the rain started, now the garden is tidy and wet.
