They Come From Miles Around..

..to Henry's Restaurant...by boat, plane, amphibian, or cruise boat...(extras)

Unfortunately, this will be the last summer of Henry's on Frying Pan Island in Georgian Bay...it is moving to town! And gone will be that long-held tradition of a boat ride through our 30,000 islands for a lunch of pickerel fish and chips at Henry's.... we will just have to walk down to the wharf in Parry Sound for our fish and chips, but it will not be the same...

My daughter and SIL dropped by today and took me out for said lunch... yum.... What a treat! But it isn't just the food..it is the ride to get there...this is Georgian Bay where I grew up and there is nothing better than being out on that sparkling water wending your way through those islands of rock and windblown pines (extra)...It brings back memories ..even of childhood and boat rides with mom and dad...It was a special day...
