Carol: Rosie & Mr. Fun

Tried for Hours

I've tried for hours this evening to get blipfoto open. Just keep getting this message. On one hand that message is discouraging, and on the other, it means that lots of people are enjoying this wonderful cyber place.

I mentioned last night that my hand had gotten burned from the steam of the kettle. The only thing that would take away the feeling of fire was to soak it in ice. Several hours later I covered it with aloe vera lotion and more ice. When I woke-up this morning the pain was gone. I'm keeping the blisters covered with the aloe vera lotion and I think all will be fine.

Today my students took their final exam. Tomorrow I'll submit semester grades. Thursday evening is graduation. This will only be the second time we have had graduation at our campus. Previous to that all three campuses combined at the Riverside campus for one major ceremony. Last year we finally broke free and had our own ceremony. It was a great moment. It was held in the outdoor ampitheater. This time the ceremony will be on the brand new soccer field. More about this later.

The pink rose was spotted when Bob dog and I went for a walk this afternoon when I returned home. I think it is a beautiful flower and only took one shot of it and thought the breeze would cause it to be blurry, so I was pleased that it was not.

I'm extremely tired. This is a normal end of the school year experience.

Good night from Southern California.
Rosie (& Mr. Fun), aka Carol
