Davide Puma at Forte dell’Annunziata

The Minx discovered that just up the road from where we are staying is an old fort where art exhibitions are held. And not just art exhibitions, as we shall see.

So, after a days' swimming, eating, drinking, and generally hanging about, we set off up to the fort at about half-past nine. It was warm and humid, although not actually unpleasant.

As we approached the entrance, we heard the most beautiful singing coming out of the windows from inside. The young woman at the entrance declined to charge us and led us up to one of the exhibition rooms, where there was some kind of singing competition going on.

To be honest, I couldn't quite figure it out, but I watched the singers for a while, and then walked around the exhibits, mostly Roman bits and pieces, still enjoying the wonderful music.

After a while, though, the heat became quite oppressive, and so we went down to the Davide Puma exhibition in the cellar. I had never heard of him before but I really enjoyed his work, as well as the exhibition space. Today's Blip is very representative of what we saw.
