Tattie Flooers

Torrential rain in Scalloway this morning, further south was dry and sunny.  A lovely sunny evening.  Calm most of the day.

Up early, and my morning walk was out off until a break came in the rain.  Popped by Madeline's, and got soaked headed home.  Nipped by mam's, then Laura's, on my way to work.  1pm start in the airport again, and mostly been on the check-in desk.  A sad day, my last shift working with Sam.  She got her presents and card, and a goodbye cuddle.  Wish her well on her new chapter in Orkney.  Off out to a party tonight.

Mam and dad are at Unstfest this weekend, so I nipped along to feed Bandit, and spend some time with him.  He ran up to the yard, so I followed him and had a look around.  All the veg is fairly coming on, and the tatties and now in flower.  Hopefully be a good crop, wonder if these are the Shetland black variety?  Taken at Aith, Cunningsburgh.
