Flight feathers

The little fluffy babies are a bit more flighty now!  We've only witnessed the ones on next door's roof go a few feet, but we did see a young one soaring over the rooftops yesterday - not sure whether it was one of 'ours' or not.  

Another nicely quiet work day.  Even managed to fit in an online course this afternoon, without getting behind on anything else. 

Tim trimmed the front hedge at lunchtime; I helped by holding the ladder for him, and sweeping up afterwards.  Nice to get out in the sunshine.  (Nice for me - he's not such a fan!)
