Dog Beer

We did a recce for a possible (Cirencester) camera club summer meeting in Lechlade next week. The weather this evening was lovely. It's not looking so good for next week. We may just end up in a pub somewhere. The dog beer was at The Trout Inn, halfway along the route I am proposing to suggest.

I had to go via the back roads as the main A40 is closed overnight at the moment. We had a few close encounters with traffic coming the other way. It seems to me that we are the only ones prepared to give way. We nearly ended up in a ditch at one point in a tussle with a 4x4 Range Rover.

Lots of people paddle boarding on the Thames, and lots of geese and swans (extras).

In other news grandson Rory is not well. He has a chest infection and is having to stay overnight in hospital as they try to get some stronger antibiotics into him. Daughter#1 had a battle to get him seen by their GP.
