Inspired by memories.
I always associate harebells with our honeymoon in Scotland - nearly 49 years ago now. I have tried unsuccessfully to grow them from seed and then when we came to live in Kendal we discovered that they had seeded themselves on the edge of our driveway.
They have such delicate stems. In Scotland, of course, they are just known as bluebells. One of my favourite flowers, naturally.
