Splash Of Colour

No coffee with Richard today, he’s away, but Mrs S straight home from a night shift, showered and driven to Annie’s for ‘Plucking & Polishing’. Following on from her hair cut she is now ready to face August and all that it brings.

Whilst she was with Annie I headed into Truro and ordered a new trophy for the Sea Cadets. Called the “Steven’s Cup” it is for the “Best New Entry Cadet”. Vanity I know but it is to celebrate seven consecutive generations of the Steven’s family serving in the military.

Clare was delivered home and whilst she slept Sam and I then headed over to Camborne to order two new embroidered RNA polo shirts, one for (Friday) Richard and one for Gordon who moved up to Liverpool.

We walked as usual but spent a peaceful fifteen minutes on the bench in Fox’s Gardens, one of our regular stops. Paddy is now relaxed when I sit for a while as he knows that there is more walking yet to go.
