Fleabane

I have a newish garden implement which may help clear the various plants colonising the gaps between the brick paving. An interesting experiment would be to see how long it would take the mosses and other plants to form a soil level that would entirely bury the pavers. Not as long as we might think I suspect. Also interesting seeing the variety of plants growing between the pavers, a little ecosystem developing. I have reassured J I will clear the pavers though.

On one side of our drive the mexican fleabane is spreading into the pavers. It’s invasive, but pretty. I also took photos of bumblebees on the sea holly. So erigeron and erygium, which always confuses me.
