Kiting

Work morning for me. 

The afternoon was spent at the Red Kite centre.  Red Kites were reintroduced here many years ago and they still put out a small amount of food for them.  We had a great few hours watching them and taking photos.  Including of the littler birds on the bird feeder (including a yellowhammer - first time Mr B had seen one).

The farm also had a very good pond, with umpteen newts, snails and insects.  Later, home and a barbecue ensued.  We were rather incompetent with the lighting, but eventually had bbq and chiminea going satisfactorily.
