Clay splatters

We all went out for brunch this morning to celebrate Adam’s birthday, followed by a coffee shop stop with a table big enough to play the new game Paul gave him. It was good fun!

Then home for a bit, then I went off to pottery and A&T went home not long after. Good session at pottery - there were only two of us so we had a masterclass in throwing a good cylinder and I think we both improved. A very patient tutor! I want to try to not churn out loads of slightly substandard pots but try and just keep the successes - my house is getting too full of my previous attempts!

I liked the look of the clay-splattered pillars behind the wheel where I was working today - lots of throwing history here!
