Treulion ni'r prynhawn a'r noson gyda'n hathrawon a ffrind ym Mhenarth.

Aethon ni ar y trên o Landaf - ein gorsaf agosaf. Mae trenau newydd ar y lein nawr ac yn dda iawn maen nhw. Maen nhw'n glan ac y teimlo eang. Fy hoff beth yw pan fydd y drysau'n agor mae platfform bach yn llithro allan i gyffwrdd â phlatfform yr orsaf - dim bwlch rhwng y ddau. Mae'n rhywbeth syml a cymwynasgar.

Cawson ni brynhawn a noswaith hyfryd. Ein ffrind wedi dod o'r Unol Daleithiau ac roedd y tro cyntaf i ni ei gweld ers blynyddoedd.  Felly roedd llawer o sgwrsio a chwerthin, llawer o win a phitsa hefyd.

Arhoson ni'n hwyr, ond yn y diwedd roedd rhaid i ni adael. Daethon ni adre mewn tacsi, wedi blino ond hapus iawn.

We spent the afternoon and evening with our teachers and a friend in Penarth.

We took the train from Llandaff - our nearest station. There are new trains on the line now and they are very good. They are clean and feel spacious. My favourite thing is when the doors open a small platform slides out to touch the station platform - no gap between the two. It is something simple and helpful.

We had a lovely afternoon and evening. Our friend had come from the United States and it was the first time we had seen her for years. So there was lots of chatting and laughing, lots of wine and pizza too.

We stayed late, but in the end we had to leave. We came home in a taxi, tired but very happy.
