Tiny Tuesday: Oil Droplets
This afternoon we had a creative photography session at our camera club "summer school". We talked about several techniques and practised some too. One of my colleagues took the lead on semi-abstract multi-exposure photos: she's a "disciple" of Valda Bailey and is very good at that sort of photos.
Several of our group wanted to know more about Pep Ventosa's techniques, so I took them through the techniques of taking and processing that sort of shot.
We also did some abstracts with oil on water, which was the only time I had a chance to take some photos myself! So here's some tiny oil bubbles floating on water in a glass dish, with some stripy coloured paper beneath the bowl to provide some colour. The challenge was to blip part of something larger, so this is part of the dish of droplets.
Many thanks to MaryElizaR for hosting TT this month: I love her comment in her entry on the Challenges page encouraging us to "Have fun and don't overthink. Photography is therapy...not work!" We certainly had fun this afternoon.
