Plants
No.2 arrived home after a stressful day to find a TFL fine for stopping in a red zone (any excuse, it’s all about making money from the motorist). He was not happy and was convinced he hasn’t stopped. Looking closer at the photos all the brake lights are on so it just looked like he was stopped in traffic rather than parked? Hopefully an appeal will be successful. This was the third parking ‘violation’ for the family this week. First I got a parking ticket at No.1’s on Wednesday after we had been to St George’s - I had bought a ticket on Ringo but it had not registered so that was another appeal letter. Second OH got a notice of intended prosecution from Met Police for driving 26 in a 20 LTN zone - he was livid and checked the map to see where it was, and found it local to St George’s when collecting No.1 from hospital last week. Another bl**dy money making scheme - the road is through an industrial area? Hopefully fine and not points. FFS
After ranting No,2 sent me a few pictures of the plants in his flat and on the balcony - looking good, probably no watering required in this rain?
No.1 and I had a reflective, tearful, sad morning and then decided to head out for a change of scenery. Back to Sevenoaks where I bought a dress and No,1 some funky earrings. We had lunch at Gail’s then home for a snooze. We had decided on early dinner at Desh in West Malling and wondered if No,1 would be up to two outings in one day but we went ahead, food was amazing and we ended the evening with an episode of The Detectorists (lovely feel good series). Ups and downs but hopefully more ups to come.
