Family lunch

It is never easy to get everyone together but today we managed with only three absentees(one in California, one inter railing and one in Cambridge who is hosting Chinese students at a ‘summer school’ who all arrived from China flying business class, however I digress).

It was a beautiful sunny day, the garden looked magnificent and the food was good and chat entertaining.  No.2 and a few other played tennis and Howard tried to eat left over food from the table (he’s the dog).  

It was a good day and we got home around 8.00 but it ended in sadness starting with a chat and tears with JC in the kitchen followed by another ‘episode’ just as No.1 went to bed.  When is this ever going to end……just when you think you have turned a corner?
