THE ESTUARY

Fellow Blippers often ask me where I go to photograph my birds. The answer is -"mainly the ChCh Estuary!". If anyone in this area of Christchurch aspires to be a bird photographer, I couldnt recommend more highly moving around the estuary, work out a few spots and stick,at it !! effort always brings rewards.
I decided today ( mainly through a low battery ) to use my G10 and record one of my bird environments. its in the Ferrymede area of the Estuary.
you might/could see herons, shags, kingfishers, plovers and other seasonal wading birds. Good luck
