Work let out hours early so everyone could get home safely. No one was allowed at work after 3 pm. [This didn't apply to people working from home I'm sure.]

For the first time in nearly a decade (the derecho in 2012?) the National Weather Service has placed the region under a Level 4 o 5 risk of severe weather. Planes have shut down! Metro trains running more frequently to get everyone home. Damage reports! Outages! TORNADO WATCH!!! 

Zelensky said that Ukraine shot down 65 missiles and 178 drones last week with air defense systems provided by the US and Germany. 

Moscow's Vnukovo airport shut down flights on Sunday but didn't give a reason. 

Russia has, once again, failed to assassinate Zelensky. They tried three times at least in the first few weeks of the 2022 invasion. Now Ukraine has arrested a woman who was trying to report on Zelensky's movements. 

Chris Christie visited Ukraine and gave Zelensky a handwritten note from Jon Bon Jovie containing the lyrics to "It's my life."
