Tower of London & Tower Bridge

Today we mostly spent our time around the Tower of London area. We met Ed for lunch but beforehand Orla got to play in the playground opposite the Tower. We had lunch outside the Gherkin then walked back to the Tower and went in. Orla was very excited and enjoyed seeing the Crown Jewels. She had an activity book with pictures of the different symbols and had great fun spotting them and shouting Check! when she ticked them off. We stopped in at House of Fraser so I could look for some tops and on our way out, the man on the Paul Smith counter in the perfume department gave Orla a cuddly toy, a corduroy rabbit that she has called London. We then headed over to St Paul's where we met Ed again after work then crossed to Bankside to find somewhere for dinner. We settled on Fish! next to Borough Market. It was very nice, but Conor was a bit unsettled and needed two nappy changes, one after a rather unfortunate incident involving Ed's suit trousers. We walked back to Tower Gateway via more London (where the photo was taken) and Tower Bridge.
