WHAT IS IT?
It's Silly Saturday and this is certainly one of the silliest looking birds I've ever seen. It lives with it's mate at the zoo in Milwaukee.

It's a Crested Screamer (Chauna torquata) and it's native to the south central regions of South America. It's a member of the waterfowl group and is somewhat related to a goose. It's a strong flier but prefers to spend its time wading. It's a large bird, not as large, bulk wise, as a turkey but about that big in height.

It is not endangered likely due to its unpalatability. Young birds are often captured and raised with domestic fowl to serve as a predator warning system. They make a loud, raucous call which has given them their name. Check it out: https://abcbirds.org/bird/southern-screamer/
