Anyone for tea?

Walking through the village today to pick up a slab of cherry cake from the indomitable Gloria, I saw that the old post office, which shared its premises with a pharmacy before the Post Office decided we would all be better served by a post office counter tucked into the corner of a convenience store at the other end of the village, is being repurposef after being empty for a few years. The pharmacy didn't last long as the sole occupant of the old pharmacy despite being next door to the GP surgery, and is now (under new ownership) in the premises next to the convenience store. So, we have a new eatery in Chobham to  look forward to, joining the two coffee shops, four restaurants and three pub/restaurants we already have. Not the most picturesque setting for a cream tea, so we shall wait to see how the interior decor looks once the transformational work is complete.
