Just got home..

Been to Inverness today. Heard of a Hayter Osprey mower for sale, so got in to have a look, and bought it. It seems perfect, and with an 8.5 horse power engine, should be powerful enough to cut any of the grass on the croft. Will be perfect for mowing around the soft fruits.

Stopped on the way down to take a pic of Quinag with a layer of cloud draped over it, but I didn't like it, so this is just before sunset with wonderful light shining on the village. Inverness was a bit overcast, and the lowest temperatures of the day at 15 deg c, the West coast was 3 or 4 degrees warmer..

Didn't get any blips in Inverness as my camera was buried under shopping bags.. And I forgot to get prawns..

listened to this music on the way home, the excellent Ian Gomm who played in the pub rock band Brinsley Schwartz, one of Nick Lowe's early bands..
