Wednesday: Caterpillars on Nasturtium

A fine dry day, perfect for drying the washing outdoors :-))
Whilst I was carrying washing to the line I noticed the caterpillars, about half a dozen of them enjoying the nasturtium leaves - this Nasturtium has very pretty leaves and I don’t begrudge the caterpillars, in fact I’m actually very pleased to see them, they are the first this year!

I’m so glad I went to the Anglesey Show yesterday, today would have been far too hot :-(

I continued reading my book and relaxing, especially this afternoon when became too warm outdoors.

Picked another courgette, used a small piece at teatime fried with leftover new potatoes and some spring onions from the garden with a fried egg on the top - one pan, quick tasty meal :-) think the Courgette count is up to 7 now, all from the same plant but 2 more plants have started producing embryo fruit, which I’m very pleased about!

Started off another little tray of salad leaves, protected in a plastic box - there are lots of slugs about and the blackbirds are busy eating them …

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
