Seeing double

A quieter day today. While warm, sunshine never really broke through.

After yesterdays rant, I witnessed a different form of irritation. In order to head west from where we live we have the option of taking a short detour through a residential area. You can turn left then right to join the main road.

Today I took this route only to discover a car parked at the end of the road preventing any progress. With parked vehicles on one side and a hedge on the other there was no space to get past. So we all had to reverse and retrace our route and find a different way round. A local said the car had been parked there for hours!, No note on it to explain. No one around.

Half an hour later when walking the dog I saw that the car was still there. Before I got close to it someone in shorts and a T shirt ran up got in the car and drove away. No sign of it having broken down. Very curious and, if just left there, the attitude exceeds that of the banana dropper yesterday.
