Ready to pick

Wildfires in the interior have now forced 30,000 people from their homes and 36,000 are under an evacuation alert. A travel order has restricted non-essential travel to the interior. We're devastated to have so many people affected and to have so many areas of our beautiful province that we're very familiar with destroyed.  :-(

First time I've grown cabbage. Our neighbour gave me two starters that she'd grown from seed. I'm hoping that they will be as delicious as the broccoli was that she gave me.

Bee on the African basil that I grow just for the bees. It seems to be one of their favourite plants. This one was resting otherwise it's impossible to get a decent shot of them.
