'Offically Britain's Best Sausage 2023'

I have heard people refer to companies like mine as 'thin air companies', which refers to the fact that what we deliver - in our case software - is not built from anything. 

And, indeed, knowing what it's like to run a small business, I'm always impressed by people who also have to worry about stock costs and control, on top of everything else.

And I'm even more impressed by small businesses that are up against the likes of supermarkets. (And independent bookshops versus Amazon: wow!)

So, I don't know who awarded Dales Butchers in Kirkby Lonsdale the award for Britain's best sausage, but more power to them!

Abi came back from Sheffield, yesterday, but she and Dan went for tea with their mum. Tonight, though, the three of us went out for dinner at Number Nine, which happens to be pretty much opposite Dales. They were, as ever, excellent company.
