The Fitted Shirt

On July 16th I blipped about a load of material we were clearing out of the loft. I mentioned that I rather fancied having a shirt made out of one of the pieces of fabric that we found.
Things have now moved on apace and not only has a suitable pattern been found, but the initial cutting out has been done. Unfortunately, the sizing on the pattern is very confusing, so Mrs C has cut everything out at the largest size and is going to try it on me so she work out what size markings to follow.
With patterns to follow, trial fittings and tweaking to get an exact fit, it’s beginning to feel like I’m in an episode of the Great British Sewing Bee. Though there’s no sign of Sara Pascoe and I don’t think I should hold Mrs C to a five hour time limit to get it finished!
