Fab St Abbs

In contrast to all of yesterday’s toil and stress, today was delightful!
Mr P made me breakfast in bed (a rare occurrence) and then after I’d opened my presents, we set off from wet and cloudy Peebles and arrived in sunny Coldingham. It was properly hot, so much so that I wished we’d brought our swim stuff. We walked along the cliffs and then had lunch (delicious crayfish salad) at Ebb Carr’s in St Abbs (one of my favourite places to visit). We explored the harbour and sat on the beach before heading back home for fish and chips with son no 3. Our Curry Club friends came round tonight for more birthday cake and bubbly. A really memorable birthday.
