Back to the bike trail

It was marginally cooler today, and we were able to get out cycling after breakfast, so it felt somewhat more pleasant out on the bike trail today. We went further north to start, up to Corwin, one of my favourite stretches, past fields of corn and soy bean, past a nature preserve with a small lake, and wild flowers along the way. The berries featured in my thumbnail photo are American Poke weed, a sign of approaching Fall, and lower right is known as Wingstem. The top two pictures show the Corwin Peddler, a sandwich and ice cream place right next to the bike trail, where we had a bite to eat at the end of our ride -:14 miles today.
