Rain!

At last it rained! Real rain, not just a few drops. And because I’m back blipping this, I can say that there were storms during the night and it’s still raining (on Sunday morning).

A couple of extras of the patio soaking up the water and of our dishes in Bangkok Cafe, where we had an early dinner. First in the door at 7pm!

We had a quiet day. Bb doing some work prep, working on the roof terrace. I worked in the wee office upstairs. I’ve now got to try and catch up with my online marking work. I doubt if I’ll reach my minimum monthly hours this month. Deadline the end of the month, but I’ll be busy all day Tuesday and Wednesday with an online assessment. I also managed to get myself set up on the new marking platform, which we’ll be using from and off September. Teething problems, of course, and markers are complaining about changes, which seem to be a step back from the current platform. What’s the saying again? ‘If it ain’t broken, ….’
