Potfest 2013

Friend Gill and I spent a fabulous day at Potfest, which this year was set in the beautiful grounds of Scone Palace near Perth. An added attraction this year was my first ever blipmeet, with the lovely ANewDay. It was great to be able to put a face to the name and have a chat over coffee.

There was every kind of pottery imaginable for sale, from tiny ceramic earrings to large unglazed baboon busts, and everything in between. This little raku pot caught my eye, though I didn't buy it. I did buy a raku tile to hang on my bathroom wall, while Gill treated herself to a checked blue cheese/cake plate.

The bonus was the lovely weather! We were able to enjoy a picnic in the palace grounds in the sunshine. A perfect day!
