Potfest 2014

Friend Gill and I spent another fantastic day at Potfest in the beautiful grounds of Scone Palace near Perth. Like last year there was every conceivable style of ceramics on sale, some of which we'd seen before, but lots of new stuff too.

This is the little vase I bought for £4 from Iain Markham's basket of seconds. Gill's only purchase was a gorgeous unusual porcelain brooch by Kit Anderson.

Despite the forecast for heavy rain, the heavens didn't open until we were driving home in the afternoon, so we were able to have our picnic sitting on the grass in the sunshine. A great day!
