Happy dog!

Guess who we met in the village this morning! Sammy (and Bertie, of course, but he was being camera-shy today)! They were on their way home after a walk in the park which involved some splashing about in the burn, hence the happy-but-somewhat-damp expression.

Gill and I took the bus to Killearn, where we happened to witness the start of the Killearn 10K. It has been very hot today, so not conducive for running, especially fast running. We had coffee and empire biscuit (Gill)/millionaire's shortbread (me) in the coffee shop, then walked the 2.5 miles back to Balfron, thus negating the calories consumed. Smart move, eh?

Gill has now gone home to Troon and I hope to catch up with journals and comments. Hope you're all enjoying the same glorious weather that we've got here.
